Although to a degree governed by the general principles of contract law, the rights and liabilities of persons in the media and entertainment industry fields are important if for no other reason than that they are usually high profile. Accordingly a detailed, prompt and effective process for dealing with claimed rights or breaches is essential.
Southern Cross Chambers members are equipped to advise on the rights of persons involved in media and entertainment and to advise remedies and recourses in the event of a claimed breach of those rights. That may extend to any person involved in those areas – writers, actors, publishers, directors and the like.
