Margaret graduated from The University of Auckland with degrees in Arts (psychology) and Law in 1984 and 1985 respectively. She has practiced in Auckland in civil litigation since that time. Margaret initially joined the civil litigation department of Kensington Swan, one of the larger law firms in New Zealand, and subsequently moved to Hesketh Henry, litigation team. In 1997 Margaret commenced practice as a Barrister sole. She became a member of Southern Cross Chambers in 2005. Margaret's areas of practice include all civil disputes including contract and tort (such as negligence), property relationship issues, disputes in relation to trusts and estates, employment, human rights and Bill of Rights issues.
